Dr. Brownell holds Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificates in both civil and criminal law and procedure and has extensive experience in the preparation of reports including medico-legal reports for:
- Personal injury cases
- Medical negligence cases
- Criminal cases
- Professional disciplinary hearings
Dr. Brownell is instructed by claimants, prosecution, defence and respondents and on an agreed and joint basis. She has extensive experience of giving expert evidence in court and at disciplinary hearings and has prepared over 600 reports in the last 10 years.
Dr. Brownell aims to provide an appointment for assessment within 3 weeks of receipt of instruction (and all relevant records) and to furnish standard reports 10 working days following assessment. Instructions must be received in writing and terms and conditions accepted prior to any work being undertaken.
